Director, Gillieron Scott Acoustic Design

Lucie attained an M.Sc. in Physics and Acoustics from the Université Pierre et Marie Curie and University of Bath, and has been working at Gillieron Scott Acoustic Design (formerly Paul Gillieron Acoustic Design) on Brixton Hill since 2008 where she’s now Director.

Her top skills are architectural acoustics and building acoustics and she’s specialised in acoustics of theatres and cultural projects, residential projects, offices, schools, universities, places of worship, and noise from mechanical services.

She’s experienced in acoustic software packages including CATT Acoustic, CADNA noise mapping and Insul.

Creative projects in London that Lucie’s worked on include Brixton House (formerly Oval House Theatre), the Donmar Warehouse, the Bridge Theatre, and The Other Place (formerly St James’s Theatre), as well as The Quarry Theatre, Bedford and the Everyman Theatre, Liverpool.

Lucie lives close by the Streatham Hill Theatre and sees it every day.  She very much hopes it can be kept as a theatre and as a valuable continuing asset to the community.

She’s also a classical pianist and speaks French (her native language) and English (full professional).
